Days of Corporate Fasting with 24 Hours of Prayer beginning on Thursday, November 12th at 7 pm and ending at 7 pm Friday, November 13th. HALF-TIME: Don’t miss out on our mid-week Word every Thursday at 7 pm at the New B East location. WOP: During the month of October Women of Purpose will collect toiletry items for the ladies of The Julian Center. After each service, starting October 4th, we will collect these items to serve our community. After collection we will deliver the items on October23rd at 7 pm to The Julian Center. There will be more details on Facebook and sent out via e-mail. Here is a brief list of their needs: African American hair care products, combs, brushes, deodorant and notebooks for journaling. A CALL TO PRAYER: Please join us each Wednesday at New B East from 12pm-1 pm as we thank God, ask God, seek God and listen to God in our time of communing with God! SUPER SATURDAY: Our-All-in-One New Member’s class will take place on Saturday, October 10th from 9 am12 pm. This class is available to new members or members who have yet to complete the course. October Announcements Page 2 of 2 JOB FAIR: The New B Business Ministry is hosting its 6th Annual Job Fair on Saturday, October 17th from 10 am-1 pm at New B East. To better help you prepare for this event, we will host an Employment Readiness Assistance session on resume writing the morning of the job fair from 8:30 am-10 am. We plan on having about 25 vendors, so come prepared, dressed, and ready to speak to your future employer. Thunder on Thursday will take place at New B East on Thursday, October 22nd at 7 pm. Our special guests will be Pastor E. Dewey Smith and gospel music sensation Casey J. You don’t want to miss this power-packed night of worship and Word. Don’t forget to invite your family and friends! HUDDLE UP: Men of New B, we know that football season has started. Before you spend all day on the couch watching football, why not come out and huddle up with other men trying to be all that God desires for us to be. PINK SUNDAY: Join New B as we show honor to Breast Cancer Survivors and our support for Breast Cancer Research. On Sunday, October 25th, all members are encouraged to wear “pink” at each worship service. SAVE YOUR SEED SUNDAY: Our next SEED SUNDAY will be on Sunday, November 1st.
