ANNOUNCEMENTS Sunday, June 4, 2017

Today Nursery Care. Infants and children up to age five are welcome in the church nursery. The nursery is open from 7:45 am - 12:15 pm and is staffed by warm, caring adults who look after our children. Crayons and paper are also available in the Buddy Baskets at the back of the Nave. Holy Eucharist with Holy Baptism, Rite I, 8:00 am, Nave. Going Deeper with Today’s Gospel, 9:30 am, Parish Hall. Joint Pentecost Service with San José, 10:30 am, Front Lawn (N. Nelson St). EYC Garden blessing, following the 10:30 service . All St. Georgians are invited to join the EYC near the corner of Oakland St. and N Fairfax Dr. immediately following the 10:30 service for a few minutes of prayers in the Plot Against Hunger garden. Everyone is welcome to participate and after the brief blessing we will rejoin the rest of the church in the Parish Hall for the Potluck Lunch.

JUNE EVENTS Youth Sunday June 11th, 10:30am. Please join for worship and an opportunity to celebrate and appreciate our children and youth, and our children and youth volunteers! Much of the service will be led by students of various ages, and this is a powerful opportunity to hear from them and recognize their contributions. It is also a chance to see all the adults who help to make our children and youth programs a success. We hope you will join us!

Confirmation, June 11th, Saint Francis Episcopal Church, Great Falls, 2 p.m. Saint George's will be presenting 8 adults for confirmation/reception! Empower the Homeless BBQ Lunch, Sunday, June 18th following the 10:30 service, in the Parish Hall. What a great way to celebrate Father’s Day than with yummy BBQ from Rockland’s. The free lunch is part of St. George’s commitment to the Empower the Homeless Campaign which runs from April to September and raises funds and awareness for Samaritan Ministry and A-SPAN, as well as the realities of homelessness in our community.
