Application FAQs Are You Ready to Apply to Leadership Denison? As you think about applying to Leadership Denison, here are some tips and guidance to help answer questions you have about the process. If you can’t find your answer here or on the {APPLYING TO LEADERSHIP DENISON LINK} page, please email Jennifer Bohannon, DLI Coordinator, at [email protected] or call the Denison Area Chamber of Commerce at 903.465.1551.

Where can I find the application? Applications for the Leadership Denison’s Class of 2019 are now available here. LINK TO APPLICATION

Can multiple people from my organization apply to participate? While multiple people from your organization can apply, we generally only accept one applicant per company when there is a large pool of candidates.

What is required for a complete application to be considered? A complete application packet is made up of 5 (five) components: application information, professional resume, professional headshot, applicant participation agreement and employer participation agreement. All components must be received by the stated deadline for your application to be considered by the selection committee.

Where and how do I submit my application packet? Candidates will complete and submit all applications, professional resumes, professional headshots, applicant participation agreements and employer participation agreements to Jennifer Bohannon, DLI Coordinator, [email protected].

What formats are acceptable to upload for my application? Online LINK TO APPLICATION and PDF only.

What formats are acceptable to upload for my resume? PDF only.

What formats are acceptable to upload for my professional head shot? JPEG only. High Resolution Preferred

Is there tuition assistance? Unfortunately, we are unable to offer tuition assistance.

Does my employer have to complete the Employer Participation Agreement by the application deadline? Yes. Your application packet is not considered complete nor will it be reviewed until all components are complete.

What if I am self-employed or the top executive in my company? For application status tracking, please complete the form with your contact details and fill out the agreement. We apologize for the inconvenience, but want to ensure your application is considered complete and reviewed by the selection committee.

What if I can’t attend the retreat/ropes course? Attending the retreat/ropes course, in its entirety, is mandatory for all members of the class. We will cover crucial details regarding the program requirements, begin leadership development, and spend time getting to know each other. If you are unable to attend the retreat/ropes course in its entirety, we recommend that you plan to apply during a year in which you are able.

When will I be notified of the decision regarding my application? We expect to notify applicants of their status in late August.
