(6 mm) thick steel supports with ITW Buildex Teks 4 or Teks 5 fasteners spaced max 6 in. (152 mm) o.c. at the supports. The deck side laps shall be secured with ITW Buildex Teks 1 fastener spaced max 30 in. (762 mm) o.c. The identical roof covers (as above) with fasteners spaced 6 in. (152 mm) o.c. within the lap seam in rows 70 in. (1.77 m) apart. Meets Class 1-120. Construction #1f: The roof covers identified in Construction #1c with Approved insulation board identified in Construction #1 mechanically fastened to preliminary fastening requirements into FM Approved 22 ga. [0.0295 in. (0.75 mm)] Grade E steel deck or structural concrete deck. As an alternative to mechanically fastening insulation over structural concrete, insulations Approved for hot asphalt or Insta-Stik application may be applied over the concrete deck. The roof cover is applied over the insulation and mechanically fastened within the 5 in. (127 mm) wide fastener lap seam into the deck with UltraGard High Load Fastener OLY, or Johns Manville CD-10 fastener for concrete with UltraGard High Load Plate spaced 6 in. (152.4 mm) o.c. in rows 12 ft (3.7 m) apart. The outside 1.5 in. (40 mm) of the fastener lap seams are sealed by hot air welding. Two sheets of roof cover are joined together with a min 1.5 in. (40 mm) wide heat welded seam to span the 12 ft (3.7 m) distance between rows of fasteners. A bead of UltraGard PVC sealant is then applied along the exposed edge of all seams. Meets Class 1-90. Construction #1g: Concrete. The roof covers identified in Construction #1c with Approved insulation board identified in Construction #1 mechanically fastened or adhered as outlined in Construction #1f. The roof cover is applied over the insulation and mechanically fastened within the 5 in. (127 mm) wide fastener lap seam into the deck with UltraGard High Load plates with Johns Manville CD-10 fasteners spaced as outlined in Construction #1c (Meets Class 1-90) or Construction #1d (Meets Class 1-60). Construction #1h: FM Approved 22 ga. min [0.0295 in. (0.75 mm)] Type B, ASTM A 611, Grade E steel deck is placed over 0.25 in. (6 mm) thick structural steel supports having a max 6 ft (1.8 m) o.c. span. The deck is anchored to the min 0.25 in. (6 mm) thick steel supports with ITW Buildex Teks 4 or Teks 5 fasteners spaced max 6 in. (152 mm) o.c. at the supports. The deck side laps are secured with ITW Buildex Teks 1 fastener spaced max 30 in. (762 mm) o.c. SR 50, SR 60, SRM 60, SR-60 Premier or SR 80, V2 50 or V2 60 roof cover applied over the insulation and fastened with UltraGard Extra High Load Fasteners and UltraGard High Load Plates spaced 12 in. (305 m) o.c. within the roof cover 5 in. (127 mm) laps, or in the 5’’ tab of the prefabricated panel in rows 70 in. (1.77 m) apart. Meets Class 1-90. Coat existing roof with asphalt primer, max 1 in. (25 mm) thick wood fiberboard as shown in Construction #1 table is adhered with hot asphalt followed by adhered roof cover. Construction #8: Structural Concrete (New or Recover) Tapered or flat ENRGY 3, ValuTherm is secured to substrate with Urethane Insulation Adhesive. Multiple layers of same insulation are applied in the same manner up to the limit of the insulation approval. Ribbons in all subsequent layers must be installed perpendicular to the preceding layer. Optional cover board of Armor Board Regular Fiberboard, Armor Board High Density Fiberboard, ESGARD HIGH-STRENGTH 1⁄2’’ 6-side Asphalt Coated High-Density Roof Board, ESGARD HIGHSTRENGTH 1⁄2’’ 1-side Asphalt Coated High-Density Roof Board, ESGARD 1⁄2’’, Knight-Celotex Premium Fiberboard Roof Insulation, Knight-Celotex High Density Fiberboard Roof Insulation, Knight-Celotex FM-90 High Density Fiberboard Roof Insulation, ESGARD 1’’, ESGARD HIGH-STRENGTH 1’’ High-Density Roof Board, GAFTEMP Fiberboard, EnergyGuard High Density Roof Fiberboard, High Density Roof Fiberboard, Huebert Fiberboard, Kop-R Wood Fiber, Fiber Base HD1, Fiber Base HD6 or Structodek Wood Fiber Roof Insulation is adhered with Urethane Insulation Adhesive applied in the same manner. After the Celcore has dried for several days, the roof cover is fully adhered with UltraGard PVC Solvent Adhesive applied to the substrate and the fleece back surface of the roof cover at a rate of 2 gal/sq (0.8 L/m2)per surface.
