Thank You For Coming

From Our Pastor

If you are our guest, we have a special gift for you after today’s service. So that we can get to know you better, please fill out both sides of this tear-off section and bring it to the Information Center near the columns. We have a gift bag ready for you.

Welcome to First Baptist Church! We welcome those who may be at First Baptist for the first time. We trust you will find us friendly. More importantly, we pray that God would use this worship time to draw you closer to Him. We would also encourage you to try one of our small-group Sunday School classes. You can find information about these classes and lots of other news about First Baptist at our Information Center. We also have a gift waiting for you at the Information Center if you are our guest.

Now, today is not our typical Sunday morning worship. In fact, I have never led a service quite like this one on a Sunday morning in my entire ministry. Today’s service, though, is very much designed around our ongoing prayer for revival and spiritual awakening. So, instead of preaching this morning, I will be leading us to pray. The Bible says in Matthew 21:13, “My house will be called a house of prayer.” My prayer is that God uses this hour to give us a Defining Moment!
