Highland Baptist church memorial IN MEMORY OF MRS. RACHEL COREY HARDEE: Designated to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering by: Mrs. Shirley Massey NOTICE OF CALLED BUSINESS MEETING! There will be a Called Business Meeting on Wednesday, April 3, at 6:15 p.m. for the purpose of rescheduling the Quarterly Business Session from April 14, 2019 to April 28, 2019.

From our interim minister oF music…. I want to encourage you to go ahead and write three letters on your calendar for the week of July 14-19... L.O.L. No, L.O.L doesn't stand for "laugh out loud" as most of us use in a text message, but it stands for something better- LOVE OUT LOUD. Several years ago, a sister church in our area decided to dedicate a solid week of the summer to love on people in our community and be the hands and feet of Christ. Over the last few years, there have been many additional churches that have partnered together to come up with different service projects to share the love of Christ in small practical ways. I am excited about the things that are in the works for us to do together during this week. We are looking for all age groups to be representedfrom the youngest children to the young at heart! There will be shut-ins to be visited, meals to serve, luncheons to be hosted, walls to be painted, people to be prayed over, yards to be cut and Backyard Bible clubs to be taught, just to name a few. We will meet together with all of the other volunteers each morning and have a brief worship time and devotional. In addition, on July 14, 17, and 19, everyone in the city is invited to come together at the Temple Theater for 3 nights of incredible worship that will fill us up so we can fill others up as we serve. I will be calling many of you over the next few months to see how I can get you plugged in that week. If ministering to the needs of the community that week is something you know you want to be involved in, don't wait for me to call! Just find me and tell me that you're ready and want to serve. If you can't commit to an entire week, commit to a day. If you can't commit to a day, commit to a few hours. You will be a blessing to someone and will be blessed yourself.
