Maintenance And Cleaning Windows Window cleaning - risk of falling if cleaned from height externally.

Specify aluminium windows for minimal maintenance. Scaffolding required for major maintenance. Ensure windows can be cleaned safely from inside (inward opening windows or fully-reversible). Child restrictors to be provided to all opening lights. Ensure height of horizontal glazing bar and low-level glass specification meets Building Regulations. Commercial and Live work units windows to be cleaned using water fed telescopic window cleaning poles.
