Position Details The Area Manager (AM), located in Bangkok, is responsible for pro-actively driving agent and direct channel performance throughout Thailand, Myanmar, and Philippines. They will work closely with product specialist training and ensure support to all channels. The AM will support the Regional Manager in relationship management of all the agent channel partners. They will support the development and execution of the strategic marketing plan with the aim of driving market development, diversification and achieving student enrolment targets for all Navitas business units. To do this they will work closely with their Regional Manager and the product sales team. The role requires a practical knowledge of marketing and sales within the international education environment and specifically student recruitment through agent networks for study abroad. The candidate we seek will ideally have the following:                

Can be understood in written and spoken English Understanding of the international education industry Successful sales and marketing experience Has used CRM tools to drive business decisions Customer focussed Demonstrated innovative thinking and proactive work habits including an eye for detail and for new sales opportunities Demonstrated and proven ability to support marketing campaigns and sales tactics which have made a strong contribution to sustainable business growth Demonstrated ability to deliver to tight deadlines, changing priorities and to take accountability for decisions and outcomes Good interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and communication skills Demonstrated flexible attitude to work (e.g. in hours and content), including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of recruitment activities both locally and internationally Demonstrated and proven ability to work autonomously and collaborate as a team player Relevant tertiary education Is an advocate of the benefits of Salesforce.com Collaborative Culturally sensitive, ethical and globally aware Creative yet analytical, organised, structured

Regional Manager

Advices on progress against targets and agent performance. Collaborate on development of regional marketing strategy. Used as an escalation point. Takes day-to-day guidance from RM.



Agency Management

Commercial negotiations, target setting and performance management of designated agencies.



Direct Sales Team

Provides “go to market” advice and in-market face-to-face resources as required.



College Marketing Teams

Provides “go to market” advice and in-market face-to-face resources as required.



Senior Student Recruit Manager

Works closely with the SSRM on managing resources in region and prioritising the support and training of agents.



Student Recruitment Manager

Works closely with the SRM on triangulating the information around agents and ensuring agent management support where needed.

Principal Accountabilities:   

Is part of the cross channel and cross functional team for region (dotted line) and delivers on all sales leadership rhythms and reporting Personally manages accounts that have been allocated to them by the Regional Manager Working with the RM to manage accounts and stakeholder relationships as required

Supports the operations performance and operational and legal compliance for Navitas throughout region Supports the development and provision of regional market expertise and insight Represents Navitas Group within area Personally responsible for embracing the desired organisational culture Help resolve inter-divisional differences at an area level Providing market insights and data to support Navitas and their clients’ business decision making Operate within the Area budget as provided by the RM
