Post Graduate Pathway (Stage 1)

Anglia Ruskin University are the only university in Cambridge offering art and design courses at higher education level. On completion of the foundation course (Stage 1) you will progress to First year (Stage 2) of your chosen course

Academic Information Where your main course begins with stage 1 at CRIC you will do the following modules One Semester Pre-Masters: PM1000: Interactive Learning Skills and Communication Skills-based module designed to develop advanced academic skills required for successful post-graduate study..

CAP101: PM Specialist Project 1 Students develop appropriate practical and contextual knowledge and skills.

PM1004: Critical Thinking and Analysis This module has been designed to present some of the fundamental aspects of critical thinking and analysis.

Two Semester Pre-Masters (modules above and below): CAP100: Advanced Practical Study Skills Traditions and modes of art, design, film & media practice vary considerably from one country to another. The Study Skills module addresses differing philosophies of approach and ethos through looking at project structures, approaches and methods of information gathering linked to practical and theoretical studies.

MAC301: Mass Communications The Mass Communications for Art & Design Pre-Masters module aims to provide students with a structured introduction to the study of Communications and related disciplines.
