Straight out from the classroom… Please read below, a brief description on what are scholars will be learning this week For Grades Kindergartner, first and second grades, please read their grade level newsletter. 3rd Grade Next week students will still be using procedural and expository text to draw conclusions, locate information, answer questions and use context clues to define multiple meaning words In math: students will be using arrays to represent and solve 1 and 2 step multiplication problems with multiples of 10 and 2 digit numbers 4th Grade Math- Students will be staring the unit on measurement. Reading- Student will be reading DRAMA to make inferences, and drawing conclusions. Please have you student read 30 minutes every night. Writing- Student will be determine the meaning of grade-level academic English words derived from Latin, Greek, or other linguistic roots and affixes. 5th Grade 5th Grade: Next Tuesday our 5th graders will be going on a Field Lesson to the Science Mill in Johnson City. This Field Lesson will further our students knowledge in the world of science. For this trip we are not in need of additional parents to chaperon our students.
