The Position We are seeking a dedicated Audio Supervisor to provide support to our growing Audio Department and to our talented students with the continued operation of the equipment in SAE Institute labs, suites, and studios. This position requires on-going monitoring of Health and Safety in the workplace, and providing support to the students during practical sessions, in their use of resources and equipment. What YOU’LL do: You will have the important role to enhance the quality of the educational experience for students through the maintenance of technical equipment in the SAE Institute studios. Through this role you will be supporting the implementation of the student experience strategy within the Institute. You will be committed to professional excellence and harmonious relationships at all times. What YOU bring: You will demonstrate high level of communication skills both verbal and written; possess knowledge of and industry experience in audio engineering. You will be able to deliver practical demonstrations and tutorials and exercise excellent organization skills to prioritise effectively and meet your deadlines. You will be proficient in the use of the required hardware and software used in our studios as well as proficient in the use of Internet and email. You will be strongly customer service oriented and you will work to foster a collaborative working environment with both staff and students. Lastly you will be willing to pursue continuous professional development opportunities to increase your qualification and skills in audio engineering.
