NOTICE TO BIDDERS TAKE NOTICE that sealed bids for: AUDIO VISIUAL & DIGITAL SIGNAGE EQUIPMENT BFY14/15-23 Will be received by the Purchasing Department of Union County College on: Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11:30 am in the Admiral Stanley Conference Room, 2nd floor of the MacKay Library Union County College, Cranford Campus, 1033 Springfield Avenue, Cranford, New Jersey 07016 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by a representative from the Purchasing Department. Sealed bids may be submitted in person prior to 11:30 am, Thursday, March 27, 2014, directly to Union County College, c/o Purchasing Department, Cranford Campus, 1033 Springfield Avenue, Cranford, New Jersey 07016. NO BID SHALL BE RECEIVED AFTER THE TIME DESIGNATED IN THE ADVERTISMENT (18A:64A-25.14). In order to be considered, bids must be identified on the front of the mailing envelope AUDIO VISIUAL & DIGITAL SIGNAGE EQUIPMENT – BFY14/15-23. IF THE ENVELOPE IS NOT CLEARLY MARKED, THE BID WILL BE REJECTED Union County College is not liable for any bids lost in delivery by U.S. Mail or by any other delivery service, or addressed other than specified. To obtain bid package specification forms and instructions to bidder, send a formal request via e-mail to: [email protected]. The request to obtain bid documents must include the prospective bidder’s complete contact information (contact name, company name, mailing address, phone number and extension, fax number where addendums are to be sent, and e-mail address of the contact). No bid document will be mailed after March 13, 2014. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq. (P.L. 1975, c.127) and the regulations promulgated thereunder (N.J.A.C. 17:27). The successful bidder must comply with P.L. 2004, c.57 New Jersey Business Registration Requirements. This bid is being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance to the N.J.S.A. 19:44a-20.4 et seq., is the intention of the Union County College Board of Trustees to comply with Executive Order #34, to increase the participation of minorities and women in the procurement opportunities offered by the College. AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT - The contractor must comply with all provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), P.L 101-336, in accordance with 42 U.S.C. 12101, et seq. Union County College reserves the right to reject as irregular and non-conforming, any Bid submitted other than in strict accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and all applicable laws, and to waive any defects, irregularities, or the failure to comply with any technicalities or formalities of the Instructions to Bidders, and to waive any formalities in Bids or to reject any and all Bids when deemed to be in the best interest of the College to do so.
