23: Everyday Essentials | Part 3

He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Psalm 23:3b (NIV) How do I consistently live a God-guided life? 1. Choose the right _______________… He guides me... Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. Mark 8:34-35 (NLT) 2. …follow the right _______________… ...along right paths... We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way… Isaiah 53:6a (NIV) The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:11 (NIV) 3. …for the right _______________. ...for His name sake. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. Colossians 3:17 (NLT)

GRACE NEWS Celebrate Recovery - The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to encourage fellowship and to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives, working along the road to recovery. Celebrate Recovery is for anyone with a Hurt, Habit or Hangup. Join us Monday nights, for Celebrate Recovery. Cheap Spaghetti Dinner at 6pm, Large Group 6:45pm, small groups at 8pm. Childcare provided. This week we have a Testimony by Mary E. Be sure to bring a friend with you. Monday Night Youth Group at 6:30 we meet in the sanctuary and move to the Youth House. If you have a middle or high school student of know of any would love to have them join us. Just Like Jesus Bible Study! Reading and understanding the Bible feels hard to do when we haven’t done it before. Everyone has had to learn to experience the Bible! So join us! You will feel welcomed. We spend some time together praying, worshiping, reading, and sharing together about the Bible. 6:30pm followed by our free dinner after.
