The Lord’s Prayer *Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. Those who have health situations causing food fasts to be unadvisable might consider fasting from social media, emails or another daily activity. 2. Pause and pray for our church’s mission and way forward daily for four minutes from 2:23 through 2:26 a.m. or p.m. 3. Pray using a weekly prayer calendar that will be posted on the UMCPrays.org website through the end of February 2019.

Our Guest Preacher Today we welcome Rev. Rebecca Holmes who is a retired Elder in our Conference. Rebecca grew up in Mobile, AL and is a second career preacher who received a call to ministry at the age of 42. At that time she was working for Emory doing research for the Dept. of Pediatrics. After graduating from Candler School of Theology at Emory in 1998, she served six different churches in the North GA Conference. Rev. Rebecca has a loving husband, Michael Wilson, one daughter and 2 precious granddaughters. She has 3 dogs and 1 cat. Welcome Rev. Rebecca Holmes!
