AW12 Phormal PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE TED’S ENDURANCE SUIT – THE ‘JONES’ MODEL HISTORY The Endurance ‘Jones’ suit is made in a family run factory in North America. The factory has been fashioning artisan Tailored Clothing for 100 years (centennial anniversary in 2013). Once on site, there are 850 individuals involved in the many unique and skilled operations (cutting, sewing, pressing) needed to make the final tailored suit. A dedicated workforce and careful production supervisors create a quality product. Our Endurance suit uses only the finest interior components: superior Italian canvas in our coat fronts, and wrapped horse-tail hair reinforcements.

CHESTPIECE The chestpiece is the most important interior component, providing the foundation of the garment. Made from Italian canvases, our chestpieces are assembled and sewn into the jackets in our own manufacturing facility. This process is more time consuming and more costly to produce. The chestpiece have a minimum of 3 pieces of canvas. The canvas is attached by stitching on the lapel rather than being fused, giving the garment a more sartorial look and feel. The more you wear the garment the more it will conform to your body.

THE ENDURANCE SUIT – THE 3 F’S Fit

Sleek, slim cut, 2 button, side vent, notch lapel, slanted flat pockets, with a flat front trouser. The suit is a 7” drop. Fabrics The fabrics are from Biella, Italy. The Biella region of Italy has long been famed for its production of fine quality wool. With its high mountain ranges and plentiful water supply, it has (since 1245) been the ideal spot for washing fleece and powering mills for production. Fabrication The jacket has sculpted facing. Facing is fabric applied to the inside of the garment edge to help achieve a neat finish. Sculpted facing is expensive as it requires careful cutting of fabric to minimize leftover fabric.

THE ENDURANCE SUIT IN DETAIL  Pic stitching on the lapels which is seen on bespoke, handmade suiting  Buttons on sleeves and front are reinforced by a cross stitch  Buttons are made in Italy out of horn and have the Ted Baker logo laser engraved on the side  The jacket comes with 4 different exclusive Italian Ted Baker jacquard linings  One of the unique properties of this jacket is its shape retention memory which allows it to recover its shape and ensure you always look your best  Our Italian quality sleeve head keeps the top sleeve looking crisp and smooth even after numerous wearings and dry cleanings  Pocket linings are 100% cotton made in Italy, and the linings in the trouser are anti-static which is more comfortable to wear  Key Jacket Measurements (based on a 40 Regular): Shoulder point to point 18 ¼“, half-waist jacket 20 ½”, jacket length 29 ¾”  Key Trouser Measurements (based on a 33 waist): Rise 9 1/8”, Knee 19 ¼”, Bottom 16 ¼”
