Back to School Back to Business Summer is coming to an end and the kids are going back to school. It’s time to refocus your energies on your Just Jewelry business! We are heading into the busiest selling season of the year, and with some planning now, it can be your most profitable year ever! Here are several tips to help you get ready! Establish your Just Jewelry Business Priorities Sell Book Recruit/Share Participate Set your Just Jewelry Business Goals & What It Will Take to Achieve Them Sell - How much per week/month – how will you accomplish this?

Book – How many per week/month – how will you accomplish this?

Share – How many leads/sign ons per week/month – how will you accomplish this?

Participate – What team meetings, leadership calls, or Just Jewelry trainings will you attend- Mark them on your calendar! Now that you have your priorities set and you have some ideas for accomplishing them, here are some practical action items for Getting Back to Business. Make it a priority to check as many of these off as possible.             

               

Contact 2 schools or organizations per week about Just Jewelry fundraising opportunities. Place catalogs in teacher’s lounges. Have a back to school sale for all of your current customers. Be a teacher’s pet - Offer specials for teachers Call all the moms you know to book a special “kids are back to school” celebration party. Call the schools in your area and find out when their bazaars and fairs are and get in now! Donate a Just Jewelry item for a school raffle. Be sure to include your business card for the winner! Find out if there is an upcoming Relay for Life event in your area and see about selling at the event with a portion of the sales going to their fundraiser. Remind your customers to wear pink jewelry in October for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Send an email now and let them know you are collecting pink ribbon orders so they have their jewelry in time! Post your business card on at least 2 community boards a week (grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, banks, post offices, salon, church, laundry mats etc…). Offer frequent buyer cards to your most loyal customers. Have a $1,000 Show! (see Consultant Resources/Training tab to view resource) Look for Bridal Shows in your area or talk with Bridal stores about setting up a table or leaving your information with them to give to brides. Let them know Just Jewelry offers great gifts for the entire wedding party! Call local salons and offer to set up a table to offer their customers a back to school special. Host your own back to school open house. Advertise in your alumni newsletter or your local schools newsletter/programs offering your personalized jewelry consultation for dances/proms, etc. Leave a catalog in the lobby of your bank, doctor’s/dentist’s office, or nail salon. If you live near a college talk to the administration about putting your information in a welcome packet for new students. Talk with College students to plan a back to school dorm party. Ask EVERY hostess to listen to the Message from our Founders recording and offer them a free gift for listening. Include a business card or flyer in your bill payments. Contact your local PTA’s to set up a table at their meetings. Contact local dance/cheerleading/girl scouts organizations for fundraising opportunities. Offer birthday discounts to your customers. Contact local hospitals to see if they will allow you set up a table or do an open house for staff. Call past hostesses and ask for referrals. Offer them a free gift if the referral books an event or becomes a Consultant. Contact local realtors – have them put your information in their welcome packets for new home buyers. Leave your business card with your waitress. OFFER EVERYONE YOU COME IN CONTACT WITH THE OPPORTUNITY! DON’T BE STINGY!
