Bay Hope Spirit April / May 2017 It is hard to believe, but another whole year has gone by and it is time to say good-bye to classmates and friends for the summer. On behalf of the Day School team, it has been our pleasure to be a part of their preschool experience and an honor to serve your family.

Graduation Ceremony It’s almost time to say good-bye to our graduates who will be leaving us for Kindergarten. Our Graduation Ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 2 5 th at 9:30 am in the main Worship Center. Doors will open at 9:00 am. Following the ceremony, parents are invited back to the classrooms for a graduation reception. The last VPK day will be Friday, May 2 6th. Teacher Appreciation Week Teacher Appreciation week begins May 1st. Remember to honor your child’s teacher will a special note, a card from your child, a flower from your garden, or a token gift of your appreciation for being a special part of your child’s preschool years!

Spring Fling Update

Part-time Summer Camps

The Spring Fling event was a great success! It was a gorgeous day and all of the families had a wonderful time! A special thank you to all who donated so generously to make the Silent Auction our biggest ever! Thank you for your support!

Bay Hope Day School will be offering four weeklythemed summer camps during the month of June. Summer camps are for children currently enrolled in a 3-year old or 4-year old preschool program. Camps are 9 am to 1 pm. If your child is not attending the fulltime summer session and you are interested in our summer camps – pick up a registration flyer at the front desk. Space is limited – camps weeks will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parent Appreciation Breakfast Please join us for a Parent Appreciation Breakfast on Tuesday, April 25th or Wednesday, April 26th between 7:00 am to 9:30 am in the Teacher’s Lounge. Mingle with other parents, have a cup of coffee, a pastry and fresh fruit. We appreciate you!

2017 – 2018 The first day for full-time students will be Monday, August 7th. The first day for part-time preschool students will be Thursday, August 10th. Watch for our Summer Newsletter for more “Back to School” information available on the Bay Hope Day School website around mid July 2017. Supply fees for next school year are due by June 15th – you will be invoiced in May.
