PRELUDE

Seek Ye First Hymn 405 Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Alleluia, alleluia!

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

We are moved by the Holy Spirit, together with the communion of saints, as members of the Body of Christ, God’s holy universal church.

We are confident in the forgiveness of sin, the power of resurrection and the reality of eternal life. In all things it is our desire to follow Christ, by the grace of the Holy Spirit, for God’s glory. Amen.

*DOXOLOGY

We follow Christ, who comes to us from God and reveals God to us. He heals people and transforms lives, and calls us to join in His ministry. He was crucified, died, and was raised again by God, and reigns over all Creation; and He bids us to die and rise with Him in the service of the healing of the world.

God of all, you have joined us to be one body at Christ Church and have given us a mission to fulfill. Bring us together in community around your mission, to partner with your Holy Spirit, and to share your love, one person at a time. Keep us working toward your vision for this community. Help us to heal divides as your Spirit focuses our minds on what binds us. Through our gifts, make each of us to be a blessing in your church, community and world. In the grace and mercy of our

Palm Sunday, April 14 Children will meet in Fellowship Hall to process palms for all three worship service. Journey to Eternal Life Sunday, April 14 at 7 pm Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem was chosen as the first half of the concert because it is so beautiful, emotional and spiritual. The composer draws inspiration from Christian liturgy; through the beautiful choral lines and fiery orchestral accompaniment, the music creates a sacred space whereby we can feel the presence of God. Ola Gjello’s Sunrise Mass was chosen because, as the name implies, it is a wonderfully uplifting piece of music. The composer wanted to create a piece that starts in darkness and eventually ends with light. This piece is a terrific compliment to Durufle’s Requiem because it re-energizes the listener and beautifully summarizes what this concert is all about; our journey through the Lenten season ends in the best possible way – the resurrection of our Lord and King! Prayer Labyrinth Please join us in prayer using the large walkable prayer labyrinth in Fellowship Hall any time beginning 6 pm Sunday, April 14 through 8 pm Wednesday, April 17.
