Bethel’s Telephone Prayer Line Ministry NEEDS YOU! Can you commit to one (1) hour per/week interceding for those calling in for prayer. You can do this from the Church’s Administration Building (the “2901 Bldg.”) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m., OR from your own home, between the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. For more information, contact Min. Gail Allen at 215-885-2585, Ext. 328. Sunday School: Come out to Sunday School every Sunday morning starting at 10:00 a.m. and learn how to walk with Jesus on the waves! My Brother’s Keeper Ministry: Am I my brother’s keeper? Yes I am. No one should slip through the cracks. No one should leave BDIC wounded or hurt. Everyone should feel supported. If you are concerned about a member, perhaps someone who you’ve noticed hasn’t been in service, etc., fill out the green card in the lobby and drop it in the adjacent mail box. We are our brothers’ keeper. Our love is for one another. Sons of Elijah/Daughters of Adonai Mentoring Ministries: Parents: Now is the season to resume having your young children participate in Bethel’s Boys’ and Girls’ mentoring ministries. Sons of Elijah, for boys, ages 7-12 and Daughters of Adonai, for girls, ages 7 - 12, meet on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays of every month. STOP 4 HOPE Ministry: All are invited to participate in Bethel’s newest evangelism-related ministry, Stop 4 Hope, a familyinitiated ministry group, has been assimilated into Bethel’s STOP Evangelism Ministry. We support the homeless population in our community by distributing HOPE BAGS of life’s essentials. You can help too. TRAVEL SIZE items needed are toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, body wash, combs/brushes, tissue packets, deodorant, feminine assistance items (napkins, tampons), disposable washcloths, lotion, hats/gloves, blankets, socks, shampoo/conditioner, as well as “to go” food items, such as cheese or peanut butter crackers, applesauce cups, fruit cups, cereal bars, granola bars, etc., chicken or tuna salad (ready to eat in pouches. All items can be placed in the barrels in the Sanctuary or the 2901 Bldg. We also distribute $5.00 meal cards (Dunkin Donuts, etc.). Celebration of Life Breast Cancer Awareness Event: Its that time of year again. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. The festivities began yesterday at Willow Grove Mall. If you missed it, you can still join us this Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in Bethel’s Prayer Chapel as we CELEBRATE life, CELEBRATE the victories of those who overcame, HONOR the memories of those we lost and STAND WITH those courageously fighting the battle against BREAST CANCER. There will be refreshments and lunch, fashion show, powerful testimonies of courage and hope, together with representatives of Fox Chase Cancer Center and Abington Memorial Hospital, blood pressure and other screenings, as well as more fun things for the kids to do. This is an event that once you attend….you will NEVER forget.. This is a free event! Three Night Prayer Revival - Bethel, we are being called to three nights of prayer for repentance. Wednesday, October 31, Thursday, November 1 and Friday, November 2, at 7:00 p.m. each evening in the Main Sanctuary. There will be no classes, meetings, rehearsals or anything else held during this time. Every Bethel Employee, Board member, Pastor, Minister, Elder, Deacon, Mother, Coordinator, Team Leader, Assistant Team Leader, church member, and “visiting member,” young and old alike. Meet us at the altar. We need to pray! All Night Prayer: All are invited to join us on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:00 p.m. in Bethel’s Main Sanctuary for ALL NIGHT PRAYER. There is so much in our world to pray about. Let’s meet at the altar and talk to our Father about it all. See you there!
