DISCIPLE

“Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.” 1 Thessalonians 2:8

A disciple of Jesus is someone who is becoming just like Jesus. Life on Life Discipleship is one of the ways we grow as a follower of Christ. It’s about meeting together with another person, or a smaller group, to read the Bible together, pray, and share life. The goal is that through God’s Word, the Holy Spirit, and each other’s lives we may become more like Jesus and mature in Him. As Paul said to the Christians in Colosse, “[Christ] we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.” Colossians 1:28-29.
