Faith in Action also encourages participation in HGBC’s service and mission opportunities as well as socials and fellowships designed to help build lasting friendships. Bldg 4, Rm 260 (Couples 40’s & 50’s) Leaders: Rhett & Jill Jackson Designed for maturing Christian couples who minister, encourage, build relationships & desire to successfully meet the challenges of the Christian family.

Bldg 2, FH Rm A (Ladies Only, All Ages) Leader: Joy Conaway Teacher: Jean Hardison A class that is committed to studying God’s Word and living out those principles in community with one another. We have lots of events going on monthly including fellowships, prayer time, fun outings and lunch after church. We all sit together in church, so no one has to sit alone. We are also regularly involved in both missions and evangelism.

          Bldg 4, Rm 267 (Couples & Singles - Ages 55+) Leader: Maurice Mosley Teacher: Hillman Giles/Maurice Mosley A warm loving group of people studying the Bible and relating the Bible to the needs of our age group. We eat out monthly after class on Sunday … meet monthly as a class to have what we call a “Fun Day” to play games and fellowship together. We stress ministry to others and building strong friendships as we care for and love each other.

IN THE WORD

  Bldg 2, Fellowship Hall, Rm B (Couples 60+) Leader: Bob Temple Teacher: Steve Benno / Roger Maddox Couples and Singles with a desire to study the Word of God and apply it to our daily lives. We strive to engage each other through ministry activities and social gatherings. Our mission is to care for each other and study the Bible. Most of the class are retired or nearing retirement. We generally prefer the more traditional Sunday School and Worship opportunities at HGBC.

LIFE ON PURPOSE

  Bldg 2, Fellowship Hall, Rm A  (Adults of All Ages) Leaders: Ron Killough Teacher: Ron Killough We will discuss in depth each Sunday, Pastor Mark’s sermon from the 9:30 Worship Service. Our goal is to equip, build community, and allow adults to experience the fullness of Christian Life.

ESL CLASS      Bldg 2, Fellowship Hall, Rm A & C  Leaders: Tony Leone Bible Study for non-native English speakers. The class is conducted in English and uses the Bible as its text.

GROWING TOGETHER IN CHRIST

(Couples late 20’s-30’s)              Bldg 4, Rm 262  Leader/Teachers: Doug & Sara Nistetter/Ryan & Shayla Eberst We are a group of like-minded couples in our late 30's that are seeking to grow as disciples, learn more of God's Word and serve His kingdom together. Our families have young children, ages preschool-elementary, and we love to spend time together and grow in our faith as we have new experiences with our family, friends, co-workers and the world around us.
