July 2015 WE ASKED FOR IT AND IT’S HERE! Every June I declare, THIS IS A SUMMER OF MIRACLES! Along with the declaration, I ask and believe God for an unprecedented outpouring of His supernatural power to be demonstrated in our partners lives, and in the various areas of ministry with which we are involved. And at the end of each summer we have reported on the many miracles and the Lord’s faithfulness over the summer months. This summer has not yet ended, yet we have much to give God praise for already. Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8). He gave the example of a child asking his parent for bread, explaining that a loving parent would not give the child a stone instead. The Father wants us to be specific about what we need from Him, whether it is a longing in our spirit, a need in our bodies, our relationships or in our nation.

I asked the Lord for a supernatural SUMMER of MIRACLES, and I see His power being poured out every day as Steven and I minister from sea to sea, and at the ends of the earth. ✓ I ASKED for the provision of a godly contractor who would be willing to spend the summer in Repulse Bay, NU, to work and oversee the building of the new facility which will serve as a Church and Ministry Centre from which we will minister hope and healing to hurting Inuit young people in the Arctic. He answered in the form of Jeff Fransky, a dedicated and gifted contractor. He and a group of local volunteer men are working diligently every day, and the construction is progressing well. I believe that by the end of the summer, we will see the completion of this major project.

2 Kings 2:9 tells about Elijah and Elisha’s encounter at the Jordan River, just before Elijah was caught up to heaven. He told Elisha, "Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?" Elisha said, "Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me." (2 Kings 2:9). Elisha asked specifically for twice the Holy Spirit’s anointing that Elijah enjoyed – and it was granted to Him! If you need healing, ASK. If your family is broken, ASK for their restoration. If you struggle financially, ASK, and God will provide!

✓ I ASKED the Lord to make a marked impact on the lives and hearts of northern young people through the Arctic Hope Project. We already have several testimonies of transformed lives as a result of the first Arctic Hope Project we held in Cape Dorset in the spring. Shortly after our missions director, Steven Carleton, returned home from Cape Dorset, he began receiving emails from young people and spiritual leaders there, telling him that between 30-40 young people have requested the use of the local church for several days each week so that they could hold their own youth-oriented worship services!

✓ As you receive this Newsletter, Steven will be up in Cape Dorset again, to pour into these young people and to encourage and train them in their new walk with God. Another miracle that has taken place – the youth/elder meetings that Steven initiated have not only continued, but are a tremendous source of blessing to the community, as they help bring understanding and vision for Cape Dorset to both the young people and the leaders. Steven will return with his team to conduct a second full Arctic Hope Project in the fall, and we are believing for another great harvest of youth who will walk in wholeness and will be equipped to lead their generation. ✓ I ASKED the Lord to give us a fresh outpouring of His Spirit as Steven and I travel extensively across the nation this summer. The schedule has been jam-packed with services, and each night God demonstrates His power by healing many bodies and pouring out His saving love. In the face of moral and cultural upheaval and political and financial uncertainties, the Lord is raising up an army of believers who will stand on guard for righteousness and courage to reach out in love to those who are lost.

WE ASKED – AND WE ARE RECEIVING! Psalm 2:8 exhorts, “Ask of Me and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession.” I challenge you to join with me and ASK God, “Give us this nation!” Canada’s founding fathers established Canada upon Psalm 72:8, declaring “He shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth.” That foundation gives us the authority to claim this nation as our spiritual inheritance. And for more than forty years I have planted the Gospel seed in villages across the Arctic, and claim God’s promise that the ends of the earth shall be our possession! Now I am asking you, our precious partners, to agree with me as we press in to God and pray for a nation-wide revival. As you partner with us, you can have the joy of knowing that you share the reward of every soul we see saved, every body that is healed, and every young Inuit life that is transformed and equipped to impact their own people for Christ. Will you sow a generous seed this summer that will be planted into the fertile spiritual soil of Canada? Your gift will reap eternal rewards! Yours in Christ
