I always have such great expectations when it comes to the holidays. I picture my family coming together, the great meal we’ll share, opening presents and laughing together. But reality always falls short of my expectations— someone cancels, the puppy eats one of the pies, a family member (me sometimes) has a meltdown. Isn’t that Christmas though? There’s often a gap between what we hope for and what really happens.

This Christmas, I’m praying that God will exceed whatever expectations you may have. Expectations about church, your family, or life. God loves each of you deeply, just as you are. My hope is that you experience His love in a tangible way. Maybe that’ll come through a smile, a kind word, or a phrase in a song— maybe it’ll come unexpectedly. Expect great things this Christmas.

DURING SERVICES

KID-O-DEO (BIRTH-KINDERGARTEN) Kid-O-Deo is where you’ll find great teaching for your Kid-Os, in language they can understand, in an environment they’ll love.

PARENT/CHILD ROOM

If you choose to keep your little one with you during the services, and they get a little restless, consider taking in the rest of the service from the Parent/ Child Room.
