Demos/Forerunners The International Panel are looking for Demo runners at Junior /U23 Selection. There will be up to two places per class available (left/right balance ideally in canoe classes). There will be timed runs each day. Offers to the race organiser.

30 January 2015 In accordance with the published 2015 selection policy the International Panel confirms the following information ahead of the 2015 Junior & U23 selection and the Senior selection series: 1. Start lines for all selection races, 2015. Lee Valley Whitewater Centre – Sat 14th & Sun 15th March 2015 and Fri 3rd, Sat 4th, Sun 5th April 2015 Start line – at exit of the start pool Finish line – Approximately 20- 30m upstream of the finish line position used at the Olympic Games. Water Volume –11 Cumecs / 3 pumps Obstacle Configuration – The selection configuration will be set by 14th February 2015 and will remain in place until completion of the British Open in late 2015. The international panel reserves the right to amend start and finish lines to ensure fair and appropriate racing. Entry Fee & Processes, Lee Valley Junior & U23 Selection 14-15 March 2015 – Entries should be sent to race organiser Anne Hounslow, ‘Torcross’ Hannahs Lane, Westbury-sub-Mendip WELLS BA5 1JD with the entry fee payable to BCU Slalom Committee. All paddlers are reminded that to be considered for junior or U23 team selection in 2015 all paddlers must have completed the online registration form by 15th February. No late applications will be accepted. Athletes are also reminded to enter early to ensure that they are included if the entry limit is reached. Lee Valley Senior Selection 3-5 April 2015 - Entries should be sent to Dave Spencer, 2 Gatcombe Close, Radcliffe-on Trent, NOTTINGHAM NG12 2GG with the entry fee of £67.50 payable to BCU Slalom Committee.

Venue Access & Ticketing Senior Selection 3-5 April 2015 The April selection race will run in a similar format to 2014 and entry to the venue will be by ticket only. Advanced Tickets are available to purchase online and will be available on the gate at an increased price. All competing athletes will receive an accreditation pass plus three 1 day spectator tickets (you can then either bring one person for each day or 3 people on one day) All volunteers will receive free access to the venue either by ticket or by accreditation dependent upon role.
