Ash Wednesday Worship March 6 ~ 10am & 6pm
Lent begins in March. This is a time for us as Christians to prepare our hearts and minds as we remember the events that took place on Good Friday—the day when the perfect Son of God gave his life for us. We begin this season on Ash Wednesday as we remember we are guilty of causing division from God. But He has called us and made us new in the Gospel. The imposition of ashes, a sign of our penitent hearts before God, will happen at both services on Ash Wednesday, March 6, at 10am and 6pm. Worship will be in the Sanctuary.

Read the Bible in a Year It’s never too late to join us!
As part of our 175th Anniversary celebration, we have been reading through the Bible in a year as a family. It has been an eye opening adventure. Use the insert to share some of the things you have learned or been excited about as you have read (or listened). You can put the slips in the offering plate or hand them to one of the ushers after worship.
Prayer Consider the people you know—but you are not certain if they would go to heaven if they were to die today. Consider those who may not know how much Jesus loves them and wants to protect them—then pray for God to give you opportunity to open their eyes to see HIM.
Heritage Weekend Thanks! From the organists and pastors to all those who worked so hard to make last weekend such a great celebration – for the wonderful heritage displays, those who brought food and organized the dinner, and all that came to enjoy the day and made it special—THANK YOU!
