International – Thailand  Pray for the Spirit to destroy strongholds, backed in faith by men and women who will be wise in grace and truth.  Pray for universities, colleges and other places of Christian training to be vibrant in spiritual aptitude to equip graduates with the knowledge of the Lord and His Word, and the experience to serve Christ in the church and the marketplace.  Pray for wise minds and sensitive hearts that can help the people of Thailand to understand how the life and Word of Jesus speaks into their language, culture and life experiences.  Pray for spiritual renewal to set people free from occultic bondages and strongholds, and instead give them liberty which only Christ can bring.

What is Lent? The Christian calendar is punctuated by two key seasons – Advent, and Lent. While Advent (which leads to Christmas) commemorates the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, Lent is a 40-day season when Christians give space for God as He calls us towards Him. It signifies a journey where we die to self to make way for the risen Christ to live in us, and us in Him. Lent intensifies in the last week, or Holy Week and culminates in Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter. The practice of Lent as a season of fasting and prayer in preparation for Easter has been observed by Christians as early as the 2nd century CE. Today, Christians of all denominations around the globe celebrate Lent and Easter in different ways – some more intensely, and others more simply. But one thing strikes at the heart of this treasured season – remembering and responding to the sacrificial life, death and resurrection of Christ our Lord.

Malaysia: Church Pray:  Believers to desire and work for unity of the Body.  Against complacency and indifference.  We will remember our calling as the Bride of Christ to be pure and blameless.  The gospel will continue to be preached far and wide.
