Brian Foley was this week’s Raffle winner, yet again, he is becoming well practised as Sgt Mike’s assistant, extricating fines for misdemeanours real or imagined.

Reports Garth - handed out subscription accounts tonight (I will add it to my collection), He apologised to anyone who may have paid in the last month since the last bank statement. Colin - reported that the Potatoes and Buckets were available for collection and Mr Potato, Roger Law, was at the Meeting to give out the Seed Potatoes. (No Ring-In Potatoes allowed, take note John Oskam). The Rotary Christmas Party is set down for Wednesday December 6th at Wanganui Golf Club, Belmont Links, Clarkson Ave. There will be a putting competition on that evening, so start practising your putting skills, (they say you get better after a few beers). A Nomination Committee for choosing the 2018-19 President was set up, on the Committee are Shaun, Mike, President Elect Colin and President Graeme. Carparking and Trailer Raffle Rosters are posted on the noticeboard in the Rotary Lounge and also in this Bulletin. Jane is a bit crook and would appreciate someone doing her stint on the Trailer Raffle Sales (see the Roster for her times). Mike - reported that last weekend’s Saturday Trailer Raffle Sales raised $1,000 and Sunday Sales will be around $400 to $500. Mike will email the sellers of their times and location for sales. Keep up the good work Ladies and Gents.

Reports Cont’d Cranleigh - reported John Tindle will be inducted into the Club at next week’s meeting. Wilf has erected the new Entrance Gates and Fence to Bushy Park, while everyone else stood around taking photos. Tony - has the Rowing Stakes Tickets for Sale $25, get your tickets from him at the next meeting. Sue - has 26 Polo Plus Travel Mugs for Sale at $15.00 each, these will be available for purchase at the next Club meeting (rumour has it Zahid will give you $2.00 off a coffee when you have a Polio Plus Cup). She also has Polio Plus Boxes available, in a dismantled condition because she got RSI putting them together. Thank you from Sue for those that helped with the Pink Ribbon Appeal Collection. Thank you to Sue who drew up the Blackboard keeping us informed of up and coming events. Terry - The Food Bank Drive is on Thursday evening 19th October if you would like to lend a hand Please see Terry.
