Business Development Manager For more than two decades, Navitas has accelerated the internationalization of university campuses around the globe, providing international students greater opportunity and access to high-quality learning experiences. Our North American university partners include Simon Fraser University, University of Manitoba, University of Massachusetts Lowell, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, University of Massachusetts Boston, University of New Hampshire, Florida Atlantic University, University of Idaho, Richard Bland College of William & Mary, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Queens College.

Navitas is seeking to employ a Business Development Manager to join our University Partnership program in the U.S., working out of our Boston, MA office location. The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for pro-actively driving agent and direct channel performance throughout the United States. The BDM will focus actively on developing new partnerships with agents and institutions. They will support the development and execution of the strategic marketing plan with the aim of driving market development, diversification and achieving international student enrolment targets for all Navitas business units. To do this they will work closely with their Regional Manager and the Colleges’ Marketing Team. They will also work closely with the Colleges’ Marketing Team for training and to ensure support to all channels. The BDM will support the Regional Manager in relationship management of all the agent channel partners in its region. The role requires a practical knowledge of marketing and sales within the international education environment and specifically student recruitment through agent networks and institutions such as High Schools and English Language Schools. To be considered for this role, you should have the following skills and experience: • Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of experience in Business Development and/or Student Recruitment; • Demonstrated experience developing partnerships across multiple channels for student recruitment • Demonstrated innovative thinking and proactive work habits including an eye for detail and for new sales opportunities • Demonstrated and proven ability to support marketing campaigns and sales tactics which have made a strong contribution to sustainable business growth • Demonstrated ability to deliver to tight deadlines, changing priorities and to take accountability for decisions and outcomes • Good interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and communication skills • Demonstrated and proven ability to work autonomously and collaborate as a team player • Culturally sensitive, ethical and globally aware • Legal eligibility to work in the USA; • Experience in an international student environment is highly desirable.
