Business Intelligence Software Solution Opportunity Identifier: RFP-2184 Prospective Customer: Office of Procurement Management Started: 21 Aug, 2013 Due: 19 Sep, 2013(in 28 days) Summary: The South Dakota Board of Regents BOR is seeking a comprehensive Business Intelligence software solution as part of their Data Warehouse project initiative. The DW/DSS will serve as a key component of the BORs University statewide data and reporting system. The purpose of this RFP is to select a vendor to work in partnership with the South Dakota Board of Regents to select a reporting system that will provide seamless availability and integration of the various source systems, supporting all levels of reporting from day to day operational to strategic and decision support. SDBOR is accepting proposals from established qualified firms to provide a comprehensive Business Intelligence software solution as part of the SDBORs Data Warehouse project initiative. The DW/DSS will serve as a key component of the BORs University statewide data and reporting system. Managing the information in this system has become an integral part of the daily processes of many different departments at all of our Universities and locations statewide. The selected vendor will work in partnership with the South Dakota Board of Regents to implement a reporting system that will provide seamless availability and integration of the various source systems, supporting all levels of reporting from day to day operational to strategic and decision support. The selected system must be architected to work across our distributed University system environment and have a robust setup that is flexible and supports levels of security ranging from restricted access to broad access. Installation, setup and support should also support a distributed model of administration where central administrators or super-users have broad access and they can distribute more restricted access to departmental users based on certain roles or groups. The solution selected must be scalable and easy to customize through configuration options. Written answers along with the original questions will be provided to all Respondents of the RFP in accordance with the schedule of events. Questions received after the deadline for submitting questions will not be answered.
