The Navitas Careers & Learning Skills business unit within the Professional and English Programs Division delivers a range of high-quality, innovative work-readiness and English language programs to individuals seeking to develop their skills and career opportunities. Navitas has a wealth of expertise in creating fully customised courses to provide exceptional learning experiences, ranging from memorable study tours and comprehensive corporate training programs to the establishment of learning and testing centres. The Navitas English Test Centre offers a suite of internationally recognised proficiency tests, including IELTS, to over 29,000 candidates each year. The Navitas Professional, Careers and Internship (C&I) operation is largely student facing focused on provision of work readiness programs for international students and graduates. The Navitas C&I operations deliver internship and workplace preparatory programs across five Australian states to international student graduates to develop them professionally and personally to enhance their career prospects. The unit provides career ready preparation for students seeking to enter the workforce at early stages of their professional career. C&I offers a portfolio of programs which develop foundation skills and career learning skills to enable students to progress their employment goals in their chosen career. C&I operates as a collegiate, matrix operational model leveraging the skills and expertise of the C&I and partner Navitas business units to deliver targeted and nuanced work ready and work development solutions for individuals, host companies and professional associations across Australia. The C&I team works closely with other Navitas units, to combine areas of expertise to enable a broad range of students and clients to participate and succeed in the workplace of today and the future. The Business Services Manager is responsible for managing C&I client satisfaction framework, internal and external reporting, records management and the student experience and value-add services. The Business Services Manager is responsible for managing business improvement including internal and external audits, survey administration, analysis and reporting as well as development and oversight of action plans to address survey findings. In addition, they are responsible for preparing internal and external reports including ASQA, DIBP and Professional Association related reports. They will be a key contact for communication with Professional Associations and other external bodies. They will be responsible for managing C&I policy framework as well as records management across the C&I network. They are responsible for establishing a C&I student experience framework and supporting State operations in delivery of value add services such as workshops, test preparation, graduations and social events. The Business Services Manager works closely with other key internal managers, including State Managers and Team Leaders and C&I senior management. The Business Services Manager is a member of the C&I senior management team and will contribute to the development of strategic initiatives for the unit including product development and cross-unit business initiatives. This role will ideally be based in Sydney, NSW.

Relevant tertiary qualifications A sound knowledge of the business environment for internships, including internship requirements, visa and regulatory aspects Capacity to foster and maintain relationships with internal and external clients and accrediting authorities Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated capability to develop effective working relationships with a diverse range of people Effective time management and organisational skills Demonstrated capacity to manage a busy workload

Demonstrated ability to prepare correspondence and reports Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation, standards, regulations and policies Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision making skills Demonstrated customer service focus

1. 3. Key Result Areas (Areas of Accountability and Responsibility) C&I Senior Management Leadership In conjunction with the Director, Careers and Internships and other C&I State Managers and Team Leaders, ensures the ongoing success of the C&I business unit by: 

Contributes to business unit strategy in line with the CLS & PEP objectives



Contributes to sales strategies, policies and processes



Contributes to marketing (including e-Marketing) strategy, policies and processes



Contributes to development and monitoring of Rolling Forecasts



Monitoring and reporting on monthly and YTD financial performance via P&Ls for related expenses



Contributes to development and implementation of Cross Business Unit activities



Contributes to development and management of internal Navitas relationships



Contributes to development and management of external relationships



Product management as required



Sound knowledge of shared services (IT, HR, property, Q&C) and provision of feedback into these areas as required to effect business objectives



Other duties as directed by the Director, Careers and Internships

For the C&I business unit: Client Satisfaction Framework 

Manages business improvement including internal and external audits



Manages student and client satisfaction indicators



Conducts analysis of client feedback and survey results



Prepares reports providing analysis of client feedback, and recommendations for action Oversees development of action plans to address feedback



Monitors and reports on implementation of action plans.

Reporting & Analysis 

Contributes appropriately to Rolling Forecast on a quarterly basis;



Participates in management meetings by teleconference or attendance;



Prepares internal and external reports including ASQA, DIBP and Professional Associations



Provides main point of communication with DIBP, Professional Associations and other external bodies

Manages C&I policy framework



Develops, implements and maintains policies and procedures to support business needs



Compliance and Risk Management – ensures the business is compliant with relevant industry requirements and appropriate Navitas strategies and policies in regard to risk management



Manages archiving of records and relevant information pertaining to the business

.Customer experience 

Develops a student experience framework for the C&I network



Oversees the delivery of value-add services including workshops, test preparation and social events



Develops a graduation framework for C&I and oversees implementation of arrangements

Monitors customer experience satisfaction Product Manager 
