* Call to Worship: The eternal Father, who loved us and set us free from our sins, who loves us still with that love that will not let us go, and who will love us forever, calls us to worship him today as the only true lover of our souls. The Lord stoops to receive the love of our poor hearts. He calls us to remember the depth of his love for us in Christ. God seeks our love!

In Christ alone, who took on flesh Fullness of God in helpless babe! This gift of love and righteousness, Scorned by the ones he came to save. ‘Til on the cross as Jesus died, The wrath of God was satisfied. For every sin on him was laid; Here in the death of Christ I live.

* God’s Greeting

There in the ground his body lay, Light of the world by darkness slain; Then, bursting forth in glorious day, Up from the grave he rose again! And as he stands in victory, Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me; For I am his and he is mine, Bought with the precious blood of Christ.

* Rejoice, O Pure in Heart #561:1,2 (PH) Rejoice, O pure in heart! Rejoice, give thanks and sing; Your festal banner wave on high, The cross of Christ your King. Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice, give thanks and sing! Bright youth and snow-crowned age, Both men and women, raise On high your free, exulting song, Declare God’s wondrous praise. Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice, give thanks and sing! * I Stand in Awe You are beautiful beyond description, Too marvelous for words; Too wonderful for comprehension, Like nothing ever seen or heard. Who can grasp Your infinite wisdom? Who can fathom the depth of Your love? You are beautiful beyond description, Majesty enthroned above. Refrain:

And I stand, I stand in awe of You, I stand, I stand in awe of You; Holy God, to whom all praise is due, I stand in awe of You. (Repeat Refrain)

* In Christ Alone In Christ alone my hope is found; He is my light, my strength, my song This cornerstone, this solid ground, Firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace, When fears are stilled, when strivings cease. My comforter, my all in all, Here in the love of Christ I stand.

No guilt in life, no fear in death, This is the power of Christ in me; From life’s first cry to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny. No power of hell, no human plan, Can ever pluck me from his hand; ‘Til he returns or calls me home, Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand!

Call to Confession: from Daniel 9 Prayer of Confession Assurance: You Are My King

I’m forgiven because you were forsaken. I’m accepted; you were condemned. I’m alive and well, your Spirit is within me Because you died and rose again. Amazing love, how can it be That you, my King, would die for me? Amazing love, I know it’s true; It’s my joy to honor you. In all I do I honor you. (Children ages 3 years old – 2nd grade may leave for Children’s Church during this song.)

Offertory Prayer Offering: The Table

Morning Prayer * Scripture: Psalm 127 (ESV) pg. 651 1 Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. 2 It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep. 3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. 5 Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate. This is the Word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.

Message: Unless the Lord Builds Prayer * Take My Life Take my life and let it be Consecrated, Lord, to thee. Take my moments and my days; Let them flow in endless praise, Let them flow in endless praise. Take my voice and let me sing Always, only, for my King. Take my lips and let them be Filled with messages from thee, Filled with messages from thee. Take my love; my Lord, I pour At thy feet its treasure store. Take myself, and I will be Ever, only, all for thee, Ever, only, all for thee.
