CAN TOO FOUNDATION JOB DESCRIPTION The Can Too Foundationā€˜s Principal activity is to promote the prevention and control of cancer and other diseases in human beings, in particular: (i) Improved physical and mental health outcomes for men and women through the benefits of exercise and diet; and (ii) The prevention of cancer and the quest for cures through innovative research. To raise awareness of these issues, and raise funds to support medical research into these areas, the Foundation provides expert professional coaching programmes for participants wishing to complete sporting events such as runs, swims and triathlon. Our strategy is to assist participants to improve their health and fitness: by supplying them with information about the prevention and control of cancer and other diseases, as well as the critical importance of medical research; and by training them for running, swimming and triathlon events. (ii) Participants engage their personal networks and communities to raise awareness of these issues and are required to raise funds through contributions and sponsorships. (iii) These funds, together with additional funds raised from corporate sponsors and other donors, are directed by Can Too towards: (A) Awareness programs addressing health, fitness and cancer and other disease prevention; and (B) Alliances with some of Australia's leading cancer and medical organisations, particularly those engaged in ground-breaking, innovative research aimed at improving or prolonging the lives of cancer patients. In addition, the Company provides public information about cancer and raises awareness for cancer research and treatment.

JOB DESCRIPTION : Can Too Foundation Finance Manager Responsible for:

The preparation of consolidated and segmented monthly financial reporting, quarterly reporting to Can Too Board, meeting any reporting requests from other members of staff, co-ordination of the audit, lodgement of relevant returns (tax, NSW Charity related department, preparation of budgets, reconciliations and management of the cash accounts and investments. The Finance Manager is also responsible for overseeing payroll and any related functions.

Main Activities:

Consolidated and segmented monthly financial reporting to relevant managers. Compiling quarterly management reports for the Can Too Board. Completion of monthly reconciliations & maintenance of general ledger accounts. Monthly BAS/Quarterly BAS/Yearly FBT/Payment Summaries. Managing cash flow and investments. Managing payroll activities and the maintenance of associated records -group certificates, employee records, leave entitlements. Administering the fringe benefits for employees through the monthly payroll process. Managing stock control and coordinating stocktakes twice a year. Coordination of the audit including preparation of the financial statements. Preparation of budgets and sufficient support. Analysis of long-term plans & assist in the planning process. HR functions including supporting CEO in drafting contracts, collecting necessary info of new and exiting employees and ensuring reviews are conducted. Maintenance of insurance policies & workers comp. Process any workers comp claims and ensure insurance covers all activities of Can Too (including training

Assist Company Secretary maintain up-to-date director information with ASIC & managing director appointments & resignations. Providing financial assistance for various functions and activities of the organization (reporting, P&L, specific requests). Maintaining effective financial/management accounting controls and systemsensuring the security of financial systems and the integrity of audit trials. As part of the leadership team, be a key operational member of staff & ensure the smooth running of Can Too

Key Skills: Proven technical skills in accounting to carry out the requirements of the role. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Advanced MS Office, Excel & Xero skills. Ability to prioritise individual work load. Ability to work in a team environment, be flexible, take initiative.

Typical Experience: 5 years applicable experience in a specific functional area HSC+ tertiary or equivalent with course work in finance & business curriculum.
