Field Sales Engineer (m/f) for our division “Photonics”. Our operating area “Photonics” comprises technologies, such as Laser and Opto-Electronics as well as Camera Technology. Applications in industry, bio-imaging and safety technology represent our focusses. Our special attention lies currently on the expansion of our activities in the OEM-applications of IR camera technology. Your responsibilities: Advisory sales of complex and demanding products and solutions. Support and grow the existing customer base as well as new customer acquisition in your sales area. Present and demonstrate to customers the benefits of Acal BFi products in terms of specification, quality, price, technical benefits, logistics support, timely delivery, etc. The customer base consists of industrial customers with their own development and manufacturing as well as system integrators and public authorities/institutions. You are familiar with long term, persistent and successful support of projects with terms of up to 18 months. Direct contact with our manufacturers and sister companies in Europe, Asia and the United States to vote technical and marketing-related issues. Successfully negotiating, implementing and managing contracts, proactively identifying and opening up new market segments as well as new application areas. You see yourself as a team player beyond the limits of your own product range, specifically you find out if your customer requires products of other Acal business units for their processing and pass the lead to the appropriate colleague. In the development, submission and follow-up of quotes an experienced internal sales team supports you.
