National Night Out in Westcreek

Celebrating Safety in Our Neighborhood The 26th Annual National Night Out was held in Austin on Tuesday, October 6th. This event is held each year, sponsored by the law enforcement and fire departments all over the country to teach neighborhoods how to prevent crime. There were only a few parties in the neighborhood, held mainly by the “NNO”, continued on page 3

same people who have been steadfast in having a party for their neighbors over the years. But the good news is that lots of people from around the neighborhood attended! The three big parties held were on Maulding Pass, Steer Trail and at Patton Elementary. There are plenty of fun photos to check out, including color ones on our website, westcreekna.org! Thanks to all of our neighbors for continuing to participate in NNO and dedicating themselves to a safer neighborhood and city. The fire truck at Steer Trail
