I n C R L ' s Model 7, reduction of mass, friction and lost motion, plus careful counterbalancing, combine to give extremely easy operation. Less t h a n 2 ounces force is necessary for horizontal movements and less t h a n 5 ounces for vertical movements. T h e "sense of feel" is so r e m a r k a b l e t h a t practically n o training is required t o make a competent operator. Light-weight portability and precise, easy operation are outs t a n d i n g features of t h e C R L Model 7 Master-Slave Manipulator. T h e weight of one arm, with channel and rollers, is only 60 p o u n d s . R e l o c a t i o n of t h i s Master-Slave manipulator is easy and requires no special equipment. Space conservation is another advantage of t h e C R L Model 7 Master-Slave Manipulator. I t is ideal for use where minimum clearances and easy portability are

important factors. T h e Model 7 has been found most suitable for junior-cave and intermediatelevel i n s t a l l a t i o n s .
