Welcome

New to

Central?

To Central Welcome! If you are visiting us for the first time, we invite you to stop by our Info Center in the Atrium to pick up your free gift and to learn more about all Central Reformed Church has to offer!

A huge THANK YOU to the congregation for your support of the Phase One building project. Thank you for your prayers, ideas and input, financial support, patience during the process, and the many other ways you supported this project. Let’s pray that this project may be used to bless our church and community for years to come. A reminder to invite a friend to the open house on April 30 from 2:00-5:00 pm.

The Book of Revelation: The Seven

Today we begin this 8 week series exploring the seven ancient churches described in the book of Revelation. We will discover what we can learn from Jesus’ words to these churches and how, as a church, we are to live today!

Please listen today as we highlight our GEMS and Cadets programs. GEMS is led by Deb Overbergen, Glenda Goemaat, Mandy Johnston, Cassie Veldhuizen, Carolyn Hol, Makayla Scanlon, Jenny Van Zante, Tammy Davis, Makenzie Scanlon, Merrilee Frazier, Jenna Van Arkel, and Marla Reed. Cadets is led by Dan Van Donselaar, Tim Hol, TJ Criss, Angelo Rossi, Wes Van Weelden, Aaron Molyneux, Kory Wright, John Buckallew, Jake DeBruin, and Ryan Plate.

Questions? Contact Andy Baker ([email protected]). The All-Church Bike Ride, sponsored by Congregational Life is today at 2:00 pm. Wifi: We recently upgraded our wireless internet here at Central. The new guest wifi password is: Welcome! Service Opportunity: Central Reformed Church has been asked to provide fruit or veggie salads to help the Sigourney community in a fundraiser for the Jarmes and Snakenberg families who suffered losses due to a fatal car accident in March. A sign up is located at the Info Center in the Atrium. If you are unable to make a salad, cash donations can be left in the church office. Salads must be dropped off at the church on April 30 (in disposable containers). Please contact Glenda Goemaat with questions at 641-295-1950. We have Central Reformed travel mugs available for $5, as well as free car window decals. All items are available Sunday mornings at the Info Center in the Atrium. Lakeview Camp: Registration is open now until May 1! Central Reformed Church will pay half of each child’s registration fee. To register, go to www.lakeviewconference.com. Facility Reservations: Our preferred method for reserving and paying for reservations of church facilities is by doing so online. You can find a Facility Reservation Form on the church website under “Resources”. Once you fill out the form, you also have the option to pay online and the form will automatically redirect you to a place where you can enter your payment information. If you are able, please utilize this method of making reservations. Thank you! Congregational Life is collecting donations for the Ecumenical Cupboard throughout the month of May. Their goal is 1,000 items. A list of acceptable items to donate can be found at the Info Center and boxes to drop off your donations are located at the back of the sanctuary.
