Christmas songs to the most important reason, the birth of Jesus. In order to celebrate the season, Grace will have many activities and special events. We hope that you will bring a friend and join us for any or all of these activities: Special Musical Weekends Each weekend (December 1 - 23) at all services provided by our Praise Band, Choir and Orchestra. Christmas Eve Services Sunday, December 23 at 7PM Monday, December 24 at 2PM, 4PM, 6PM and 8PM (Childcare for ages 3 and younger will be offered at the Sunday service and on Monday at 2PM, 4PM and 6PM. Children 4 and older will get a special goodie box and a battery-powered candle to take into service with them.) After each Christmas Eve service, attendees will be invited to an even larger tent than last year to enjoy coffee, hot cocoa, snacks, kids activities, festive Christmas carols with a highly anticipated guest, a photo booth, and more! We can't wait to celebrate the birth of our Savior with YOU!

14 from 5:30PM to 8PM Grace is providing carnival games and inflatables for kids and their families to enjoy as they do some Christmas shopping. Would you be willing to help with this event? We are in need of 20 to 30 volunteers who would help facilitate the carnival games and supervise the inflatables. Currently, we only have 5 people signed up to help. Would YOU pray about serving? Serving Opportunities on Sunday Mornings and at AWANA Children's Ministry has serving opportunities at 9:40AM for Babies Room Leaders (2) 9:40AM for a Kindergarten Teacher 9:40AM for a 4th Grade Assistant Training & Curriculum are provided. [email protected]. AWANA is still growing and needs leaders to listen to Bible verses. We are looking for 3 MORE ADULTS who love Gods word and want to help children grow as they learn Gods word to jump in and volunteer in grades K-5 Grade! Join in the fun! Marriage Seminar - February 22 & 23 If you're married or about to be married, we've got a weekend for you!! On Friday, February 22 at 7PM Grace is hosting a special night of comedy with author, speaker, comedian, Dr. Michael Smalley! On Saturday, February 23, beginning at 9AM, Dr. Smally will be joined by his wife, Amy, to lead married/engaged couples through a marriage seminar where participants will discover:
How to resolve conflict The best way to ignite passion and romance Exactly why couples get stressed and how to overcome it A simple way to start any difficult conversation Just one word that will absolutely change everything Mark your calendars NOW! Interested in Leading a Small Group? Small Groups play a critical role in the lives of believers to help them grow in their faith, care for each other, and be equipped for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16). We want everyone at our church to be part of a small group! We are praying for God to raise up leaders for new groups. If you are interested in learning more about the opportunity to serve in this impactful ministry as a shepherd of a small group, please contact Pastor Kirk at (703) 232-4825 or

Bethlehem Candle This Sunday is the second week of Advent and we light the Bethlehem Candle which represents love and symbolizes Christ’s manger. We look forward with anticipation of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ on Christmas Eve.

Special Missions Offering This weekend in your bulletin and available in the Welcome area are bright green envelopes that are for Grace Baptist Church's Annual Christmas Missions offering. This offering will go to support the continued efforts of our ministry partners in Morkretz, Ukraine. Pastor Vasya Goncharova and his wife, Ksusha strive to lead their church, Morkretz Evangelical Baptist Church, and the surrounding community to know and follow Jesus! The Nadiya (Hope House) Orphanage strives to provide a home, health, and education for orphaned boys and girls. The first $5,000 given will go directly to support our ongoing missions efforts with the Ukrainian church and orphanage. All gifts given beyond that amount will go to support our continued missions efforts with Mike and Kim Barnett in Thailand, John and Ann Hill in St. John USVI, the Bland Ministry center in Bland, VA, and a continued partnership with Christa McAuliffe Elementary School.
