WELCOME We are excited to share this year’s fun filled Christmas Activities Program. You can choose to laze on the beach with a book and cocktail OR enjoy hikes along the island’s rugged east coast, daily activities for the kids, tropical painting parties, outdoor movies, our barefoot beach bonfire, a visit from Santa “island style” and so much more. As our guest you enjoy activities, pool and beach services at both of our sister resorts Saint Peter’s Bay and Port Ferdinand. Please be sure to check the location detail for the various activities in our program. We offer complimentary daily scheduled water taxi transfers between resorts (refer to Water Taxi & Shuttle Transfers section of our program). Christmas is one of the busiest and most vibrant times to be in Barbados so we highly recommend that you work with our concierge team to help you plan your stay your way in advance of your arrival. Be it on site activities, restaurant reservations, exhilarating adventures or pure relaxation, leave the arrangements to us! At this busy time of year we also recommend letting us secure the comforts and provisions you enjoy on your behalf as grocery stores are very busy and have limited hours. When finalizing your travel details with us, please let us know the items you wish to have pre-stocked in your villa. Shopping hours are limited on December 24th and stores are closed on December 25th, 26th and on January 1st. Welcoming children aged 3 to 17, The Pirates Den is an indoor play centre full of fun. Trained child care professionals oversee the action which includes a “Lil Mates” Pirate Ship soft zone play area for toddlers, Games Zones featuring Play Station, Xbox and Wii, Foosball table, Pinball machine, Art easel and ”Bean bag beach” where kids can chill and enjoy a movie. Board games, puzzles, lego and crafts are all available. Toddlers require a Nanny or Parent to be present. The Pirates Den is Open from 9am to 5pm.

THE BUCCANEER HIDEOUT – OUTDOOR PLAY AREA This “Hideout” offers hours of excitement for children of all ages. From climbing to splashing to swinging in between, play areas include a swashbuckler swinging set with wave slide, rock wall with climbing rope, clatter bridge, belt swings, trapeze swimming, sandboxes, tic-tac-toe panel and a splash zone. BABYSITTING SERVICES For your peace of mind our babysitters and nannies are First Aid or CPR qualified, they also know how to swim and have had training and experience in early childhood education. Our specialist Recreation Kids Club Attendants will be on call for any babysitting requests you should have. They are available to babysit in your own home, in our kids club or if it would be more convenient they can join your family at a desired location on the island. These services are in high demand over this very busy season so we recommend well-advanced notice so that our Concierge can ensure that your little ones are looked after when you would like enjoy some time on your own. Standard Rates: • US$25 per hour during the day and evening up until midnight for one child, if the booking is for more than one child there is an additional US$10 per child. US$30 per hour after midnight for one child and US$15 per child for any additional child.
