e are so thankful that you have chosen to worship with us today. If you are visiting let me welcome you and ask that you please fill out a Connection card found in the pew and return it to an usher at some point today. If you are not refreshed by gaining an hour of sleep then I pray you will be refreshed by today’s service. I am so thankful for the leadership of Barry Keathley and how he is never content to just lead worship the same way. His willingness to remain moldable and creative is essential to our worship experience. Remember that today as you experience the power of worship and praise through the gifts of so many. Next Sunday will be a full day of activities. Please remember that we will be taking a Love Offering at the end of the morning service for the team traveling to Uganda one month later. While I know they appreciated your support from the lunch a couple of weeks ago, they are still in need of close to $10,000 for this trip. I hope you will join me in contributing to this important mission. Then we will also be collecting our shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Boxes and brochures can be picked up at the Welcome Center. Finally, don’t forget that next Sunday is Veteran’s Day. We will recognize the men and women of our church who have served our country, as well as praying for our military and nation. I hope that you will take time this week to honor those veterans by voting. Part of the sacrifice that they made is to protect your rights and our great Republic. These are important times in our nation, so please make sure that you take the time to vote this Tuesday. I pray that you have a meaningful worship experience and that the Lord will bless and use you this week.
