In verse 4, Jesus said that he has accomplished the work he already came to do. What work was this since he has not gone to the cross at this point? What was it that Jesus saw as important to pass on to others? What is Jesus praying for his disciples? How is this prayer also connected to us today? What was Jesus motivation for multiplication? Apply As Jesus followers, we have been called to be a part of this discipleship and multiplication. What is our motivation for being a part of this? How might a multiplying Christian live or think differently than non-multiplying Christians? In what ways can you be a part of the church’s and ultimately, Jesus’ mission of multiplication?
