On January 1, 2018, Premier Communications’ contracts with local broadcast providers (ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX) are up for renewal. These rates change every year. The local broadcast providers have indicated that they intend to dramatically raise the fees they charge Premier to carry their station on our channel lineup; the increase could be as much as 40-60% higher! Premier does not keep or profit from these fees, they are sent directly back to the broadcasters.

4

$ .73

TO PUT THIS INCREASE IN PERSPECTIVE:

3

$ .29

Imagine you are grocery shopping and you discover that a gallon of milk has gone from $3.29/gallon to $4.73/gallon – overnight! This is the scale of the fee increases local broadcasters are demanding.

WHAT IS THE ALTERNATIVE TO PAYING THESE FEES? Premier would not be able to carry any of the local channels. We stop paying, the broadcasters take their channel away. This isn’t fair! You, the customer, are being forced to shoulder the cost of local TV. This problem isn’t limited to Premier, any Cable or Satellite providers that have local channels on their lineups are facing the exact same increases.

OUR COMMITMENT:

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

We are doing everything we can to fight these fee increases.

For more information visit https://www.mypremieronline.com/TVonMySide

Please stand with us as we do our best to keep your costs low.

Join the fight by writing your representatives in congress.
