Collegeville Community Credit Union Launches New Referral Program

In honor of our upcoming 75th Anniversary, we have created a referral program to boost membership and lending. Now through June 30, 2013 we will reward members to refer their family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to the Credit Union. Refer a new member to the Credit Union and both you and the new member can earn up to $25. The more services the new member opens, the higher the amount earned. The program works the same way for loans. Refer a loan to the Credit Union and both you and the borrower can earn up to $75.00. All types of loans are eligible for this program, new loans (new money disbursed) or loans transferred from another financial institution. The amount of the referral incentive will depend on the amount of the loan. - $5,000-$15,000 = $25.00 each to the borrower and referring member - $15,001-$25,000 = $50.00 each to new loan holder and referring member - $25,001 and up = $75.00 each to new loan holder and referring member There is no limit to the number of people a member can refer. The more members and loans you refer to the Credit Union, the more money we will put in your pocket. So refer today and start reaping the rewards today!!!

Thank you to all those that accepted nominations for the open positions. Thanks also to the nominating committee (Diane Schneider and Lloyd Opatz ), all that helped organize the meeting, and all Credit Union volunteers/staff and their families that helped with the kitchen work, set up, and clean up. From the President’s Office Happy Spring to everyone. As I write this it is the first day of spring. Temperatures are in the single digits and the wind is blowing (imagine what it would be like if it wasn’t Spring!!!). I hope it warms up soon. At the Credit Union we believe strongly in Community Involvement. As we celebrate our 75th year, we continue to increase our work with various organizations to help improve our community. For example, Carol, Tammie and I are Junior Achievement volunteers. We teach elementary children in local schools about business, banking and cities. This program is equally rewarding for the students, teachers, and all of us. With spring hopefully coming soon (we do live in Minnesota), I am anxious to get on my new bicycle. This year it has some new meaning. For a personal Community Involvement project, I have signed up to ride the MS 150 bike ride this year. This ride is a 150 mile ride to benefit those living with Multiple Sclerosis in Minnesota. It is on June 8th & 9th 2013 from Duluth to the Twin Cities. Why do this??? Well, because I can; there are many others that do not get this option. And, because a close family member has recently been diagnosed with the disease. Anyone wishing to donate to this cause can contact me, or do so at Nationalmssociety.org. Click on the donate link on the top right of the page. Under the word PLEDGE click on the sponsorship link. Search for participant Mark Douvier. Thanks to everyone for your support in this endeavour and for your continued support of Collegeville Community Credit Union. Keep an eye out for us in the community!!! Have a happy spring!!!

Home Equity Loan Information The interest rate on Home Equity Credit Lines remains at 4.75%. This does not effect those members that have locked their interest rate. In this case, the rate will not change until the lock rate agreement expires. A notice of the rate change will be sent out. Planning a Home Improvement project? Our special on Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC) will continue through the remainder of 2012. Open a new HELOC and we will lock your interest rate at 5.00% for 3 years. Plus we’ll pay up to $250 of your closing cost for new HELOC loans of $10,000 or more. Any members that currently has a HELOC loan and borrows additional money can take advantage of this offer. Call us at 320-363-7751 for more information! If you have stuck with us and read this far, contact Mark by email [email protected] and be entered into a drawing for a CCCU Logo jacket in your size. We are currently updating our website- you’ll see the new version in April. We are looking for area photos taken by our members to post on the home page of the new website. If you have a photo or two, that you especially like, of a location, setting, or event in the CCCU member area, email a copy to us. If your photo is selected we will include it on our updated website and send you a prize for your efforts.
