Burial in Lone Oak Cemetery, Lewisburg, TN. Pallbearers were Stephen Cozart, Kentson Blacksher, Kenneth Pugh, Noah Croy, Drew Finch, Houston Pugh, and Isaac Blacksher. Mr. Attkisson passed away August 16, 2017. He was born to the late Robert Solon and Mattie Pearl Crumley Attkisson in Lawrenceburg, TN. Mr. Attkisson was retired from Walker Die Casting as the Plant Manager and was previous owner of K & S Market in Lewisburg, TN. He enjoyed doing his yard work and listening to music. Along with his parents, Mr. Attkisson was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sue Attkisson. Survivors include daughters, Susan Pugh of Lewisburg, TN, Deborah Blacksher of Murfreesboro, TN, and Dana Croy of Nashville, TN; son, Bill Cozart of Shelbyville, TN; brothers, Campbell Attkisson of College Grove, TN and Jackie Attkisson of Columbia, TN; sister, Patsy Hayes of Tampa, FL; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was born in Lewisburg, TN and was the daughter of the late William Marion Carter and the late Melba Musgrave Culbertson. Mrs. Gordon was a member of Farmington Church of Christ. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Mrs. Hall passed away August 16, 2017. She was born in Chicago, IL to the late Joaquin and Hermal Branham Vega. Mrs. Hall had a great love for helping others and her life’s dream was to become a nurse. She achieved her goal by graduating from nursing school on September 5, 1980 and had a wonderful twenty year nursing career. Her next goal was finding the man of her dreams, her soulmate, which she did. On September 3, 1999 she married Ralph E. Hall, who preceded her in death on February 17, 2014. Mrs. Hall was a former member of Five Points Volunteer Fire and South Marshall Fire Departments. She also previously served as President of the Cornersville Lions Club. After joining the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, she accepted the role of President. She retired her post earlier this year. When she was not busy with work, family and volunteering, she spent any free time gardening, listening to 50’s music, playing skip-bo, solving crossword puzzles and reading. Her joy was found in her family, work, volunteering, and life. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by grandsons, Christian Haynes and JT (John Tucker) Music; great grandchild, Grace; and brothers, Andy Vega and Arbie Vega. Survivors include daughters, Annette Marie Haynes, Sherry Lynn Music, and Eva Williams; son, Gene (Lisa) Hall; grandchildren, Andi Haynes, Drew Haynes, Josh Music, Jake Music, DJ Bates, Cheyenna Bates, Sarah Taylor, Angie Hall, and Laura Grubb; and five great grandchildren.
