Death – 4191 – Muth – Execution

We are all born into a world facing Death (execution) (this word is referring to an unnecessary tragedy) Genesis 2: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Abel was the first to experience the unnecessary tragedy in Ch. 4: 10 and God said to Cain, “the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.” Genesis 5: 5 God began to say as He referred to death “All the days of Adam were 930 years and he died… Genesis 5: 8 Seth live 912 and he died Genesis 5: 11 Enos lived 905 and he died All these simply stating the act of death happening to them… Genesis 5: 24 “And Enoch walked with God and He was not for God took Him” Yes ,this was a big deal and still is a big deal because of the execution that every human faces called: “Muth” “Death by execution”

Genesis 15: 15 God began to make covenants, the Abrahamic covenant, and God began to refer to this issue in a different way “ And thou shalt go to thy Fathers in peace” Genesis 25: 8 at age 175 “then Abraham gave up the Ghost and died… and was gathered to his people.” Genesis 49: 33 When Jacob died “And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into his bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people.” Job called death “the king of terror” Job 16: 22 “When a few years are come, then I shall go the way whence I shall not return.” The Psalmist calls it “The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence” (Psalms 115: 17) The Dead here – 4191 – The execution or the unnecessary tragedy. “But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD.” (vs 18) Peter said that “Knowing that shortly I must put off this tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath showed me.” (2 Peter 1: 14) Luke 12: 20 Jesus said about the Prosperous Farmer, ”this night thy soul shall be required of thee” The OT calls the abode of the Dead Sheol – 7585 – the abode of the dead… the underworld of death. Genesis 37: 35 Jacob described himself as going to the grave (Sheol) because he thought Joseph had been killed. David described his brush with death as he was being hunted by King Saul “as a brush with death (Sheol) 2nd Samuel 22: 6 and Hosea 13: 14 The Lord declares that He will ransom His people from the grave from Sheol. Luke 16: 19 – Jesus gives us a good look into what the New testament calls Hell or Hades – 86 – the abode of the dead in the Greek language. But notice the difference in this passage, Lazarus died and went into Abraham’s Bosom but the lost rich man died and was in Hell (Hades). Jesus said, Fear not him who can destroy the body, but fear not them which kill the body but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell – 1067 – Gehenna (Matthew 10: 28) Jesus said about His friend Lazarus… He sleepeth… (John 11) Paul said Paul gives us a completely different look at Death in vs 23: “For I am in a strait between two having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:” (Philippians 1:23) Philippians 3: 7-11 I count all things lost that I might gain Him… that I might gain the resurrection of the dead!

2nd Corinthians 5: 1-10 We have a new tabernacle and will have a glorious body fashioned by Chrsit Jesus Himself… John said …Fear not; I am the first and the last I am he that liveth and was dead and behold I am alive forevermore Amen; and have the keys of hell – 86 – Hades and death – Thanatos – 2288 – temporal death (Revelation 1: 17) Revelation 20: 13 death (Thanatos)and hell (Hades) deliver up the dead that were in them…Vs 14 death and Hell (Hades) were cast into the lake of fire. This is the Second Death Revelation 21: 4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death (Thanatos), neither crying, neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away. And He that sat on the throne said, Behold I make all things new…” Paul finished his instruction about the resurrection of Jesus…“ For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the first fruit; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” (1st Corinthians 15: 22-28) Terms??? 
