His loving and cheerful personality and funny jokes will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Riley was also predeceased by his stepfather, Rudolph J. On May 31, 2015, Richard Milner suffered a fall, fracturing his hip. During his recovery from the fall, he needed gallbladder surgery. He came to Lynchburg Nursing Center for a short rehab stay. With a goal of returning to working in his workshop, Milner was determined. “The staff at Lynchburg Nursing Center looks at a patient’s potential and not their imperfections – they gave me hope!” said Milner.
