“Community & Fellowship” Acts 2:40-47

1. What do you believe are some of the negative things about the individualistic culture we live in? How does it impact us experiencing true community?

2. Of the four essential elements of community listed in verse 42 (Teaching, Fellowship, Breaking of Bread and Prayers) which one has been the most meaningful to you within the context of community?

3. In what ways do we at times watered down or misused the true understanding of Fellowship (​“The having or sharing in common”​)? In what ways or times have you experienced true Christian fellowship?

4. Share a time when you experienced a sense of awe towards God (v.43)? How can or should being in community or in fellowship with other believers increase the opportunities for this to happen?

5. Why is it important to, in addition to the Sunday morning gathering, gather together in another believers home or in any other somewhat intimate setting (like a bible study) to share a meal and open God’s Word together (v.46)?

6. How can you contribute to the sense of community and fellowship at Coastside Church?
