Concept

A combination of reusable shopping bags and special bags for loose fruits and vegetables avoid extra plastic bags. All bags are once purchased by the customer and are designed so that they fit on the cart. Through the use of these reusable bags a cage shape in the cart is no longer necessary. That’s why we decided to work with a rail system . The lower part of the shopping cart is still necessary for any heavy containers or large packages.

For loose products in stores such as fruits and vegetables we also provide reusable bags. This is to improve the speed, hygiene and the ease of weighing. Working without packaging is not feasible in large numbers. Also, under the handle we provided a basket where one can put those packets so that they are separated from the other products in order to avoid damage to the fruits and vegetables.

How it works

You are outside the shop where you choose to use a shopping cart. This is the moment you use your shopping bags and click them on the cart. The small bags van be fastened in the basket. In the store you fill the bags with your products. At the fruit & vegetable department you use the small bags ( if necessary). Once at the checkout place the product on conveyor and then systematically fill your shopping bags again. Your fruits & vegetables are weighed in the same way as before, only now you do not have to use plastic bags more . Once arrived at the car you can unclick your bags from the cart and immediately put them in your car. The small bags can be placed at the top of the big bags.
