As members of the body of Christ in Grand Rapids, we have an opportunity that comes once in a generation, possibly once in a lifetime! CityFest with Luis & Andrew Palau is mobilizing and unifying the churches in West Michigan in order to boldly proclaim the Gospel together. Already, there have been many ways God is working through the year-long preparations of this region-wide evangelistic campaign.

A Pastor’s Conference at Calvary brought 500 West Michigan pastors together.

Many of you attended RE:NEW where you prayed for personal and citywide revival as we step out boldly with the gospel.

About 200 of you from Calvary went through evangelism training with Mark Mittleberg.

A committee formed to work with Partners in Housing in order to serve our city.

Last month, youth gathered for the Movement and over a hundred came to know the saving grace of Jesus! You may have thought all that was enough. But there is so much more….

As we continue to move towards the Festival in downtown Grand Rapids, September 8-9, pray about the many ways you can be preparing friends and family to hear the Gospel.

Make a list of five friends or family who don’t know Jesus and commit to pray for them this summer.

Join Grand Rapids area churches for a CityFest West Michigan Prayer Gathering at Calvary on August 9, 7:00-8:30pm.

Invite women, and even host a table, for the Women’s Outreach Luncheon on September 5 at DeVos Place.

Invite co-workers for the Business & Civic Luncheon on September 6 at DeVos, another opportunity to play a vital role in leading your friends and business colleagues to Jesus Christ.

Connection Point today! Also, stay tuned as opportunities are explained

each week in the bulletin as we lead up to the Festival.
