The Access Ministry, which helps accommodate and care for those in the Central community with disabilities, is starting a Sunday school class for Adults who need some extra support and individualized curriculum. The class will meet during the 11:15 service in Classroom A and begins on September 8. The ministry is also looking for a couple more helpers—especially men. One hour/month, no experience needed, no prep. Contact Robin Callan at 314-359-1945 for more information. PRAYER REQUEST

Adult Sunday School Sunday school for all ages is just around the corner. A beloved tradition, these classes provide opportunities not only to learn what God teaches us through the scriptures and how to apply it in our lives but also to become part of a community. They are places to connect and belong, to know and be known, to be accepted by the grace of Christ, and to be transformed by the power and love of Christ. Classes begin on September 8, and every class will be at 10am. Young Adults (Sanctuary) | This community for young adults from college through 20s & 30s is a great place to connect, grow, and learn. During the fall semester, we will study the biblical theme of union with Christ. Come join us as we explore the many gifts that God gives us in union with Christ so that we can have full confidence in living out the riches of his grace and life. My Sunday Family (Classrooms A & B) | My Sunday Family is a community seeking to connect and support each other in learning how to follow Christ together as the family of God. During the fall semester, we will study the biblical theme of food as a symbol of the gospel. Join us as we learn how God uses food in the Bible to tell us and fill us with the gospel of his life and love.

Navigators (Meeting Room 2C, Student Center) | Navigators is a community of mixed ages and stages that seeks to deepen faith and develop relationships. During the fall semester, we will study the Old Testament books 1 and 2 Samuel. Join us to learn how God's faithfulness rescues, protects, and restores broken people and a broken world, ultimately through the promised King Jesus, the greater David who establishes a new and eternal covenant and kingdom. Gleaners (Parlor) | Gleaners is a group of men and women of mixed ages, marital status, and biblical knowledge who study the Bible to apply it to their lives and seek greater obedience and faithfulness to the glory of God. During the fall semester, we will study the gospel of Matthew. Join us as Matthew takes us through the life of Jesus and shows us the compelling majesty and power of the Messiah who radically changed his life and called him to proclaim the good news of Jesus to the world. We invite you to experience community at Central through one of these Sunday school classes. If you have questions or would like help in finding your fit, please contact Pastor Mike Farley (mfarley@ centralpres.com or 314-7272777).

Discover Central

GriefShare

Discover your place in the family of God at Central! If you are new to Central or would just like to learn more about the church, we have the class for you, and it begins on September 8, at 10am in the Gathering Place.

This fall during Equip Central, we will be offering GriefShare. GriefShare is a program that offers Biblically-focused grief support and encouragement for one’s grief journey. This program will begin on Wednesday, September 4, and will meet from 6:308pm.

Discovery is a four-week class providing a chance to learn more about the basic beliefs, history, and ministry of Central. It's a chance to meet people and discover ways to “know, be known, and make known” here. As one member who recently went through the class said, “It provided a friendly, inviting opportunity to learn about Central’s beliefs, community life, and vision.” There is no expectation to continue to the Membership class after Discovery, but Discovery is a prerequisite for membership. The Membership class studies our beliefs and practices in more detail and helps you learn ways to connect and serve at Central. If you would like more information or would like to register, contact Carol Mulick (314-727-2777 or cmulick@ centralpres.com).

Led by caring people who have experienced grief, GriefShare includes a weekly video seminar, small group discussion, and workbook for personal study. GriefShare has helped many people who have suffered the loss of a spouse, family member or friend throughout the country. We encourage you to join us. There is no cost, but we do ask you to register at www. centralpres.com/eqc, or by calling the church at 314727-2777 ext. 113. For more information on GriefShare, or if you have any questions about registering, please contact Pastor Charles Godwin (cgodwin@ centrlapres.com or 314-7272777).
