EARLY RELEASE

Next Friday, IDEA Public Schools will have an early release day. All scholars will be released at 12:00pm. There will be no Dragon Care on this day. • Storybook Comes to Life Pep Rally 11/13: Scholars are invited to dress up for our next pep rally on our half day, Friday, October 13th! The theme will be “Storybook Comes to Life!” Scholars can dress up as their favorite story book character! • 11/14 Saturday

Due to early predictions of inclement weather for the Trunk or Treat, we unfortunately needed to post pone the event. We will now have a Fall Social on Saturday, November 14th, 2015 from 4pm-7pm! There will be even more games and fun for our scholars and families on this day! We will have yummy treats, games, hayride, a haunted house, bouncy, and more! Please plan to join as we raise money for our school!

Operations Corner

PRINCIPAL MESSAGE Dear parents, I am so incredibly proud of my scholars, and I am exceptionally proud our seven millionaires! This week, we welcomed three more scholars into the club and which puts us as number three in the district for having so many millionaires! We are so excited here at IASB that we have decided to give iPads to any more scholars who become millionaires until we become number one in IDEA! As we kick-off our 2nd quarter of school, we are looking closely at those Dragons that have multiple absences. It is very important that all scholars are in the classrooms at all times, so we can prepare them and pave their road for success. Every minute lost in the classroom, results in a step back in achieving those goals. Our staff and faculty spend countless hours preparing materials to give your scholars the tools they need to succeed, but all of this preparation means nothing if we don’t have scholars in the classroom. If you need to make arrangements with the school in regards to your children missing class, do not hesitate to contact their teachers.
